A big doubt

I’m so glad JaMarcus Russell no longer plays for LSU. Several million dollars and two years proves JR will never change. Can’t avoid the rush (he looks like he’s in slow motion), but doesn’t throw the ball away = sack (Auburn flashback). Goes to throw and the ball pops out of his huge hand for a fumble…good grief. And that’s just the first half – I was actually laughing by halftime and decided to go to bed.

Makes you wonder…was he that good, or did he have a good supporting cast while with the Tigers? I believe he has talent – the ridiculous arm and other physical attributes (he is bigger than both starting DE for Denver) and the winning record at LSU, BUT, can he be as great as a long holdout should warrant? After last night, I have my doubts.

Many people have made the point that his O-line was bad and that he will improve - gotta love that glass half full mindset. I guess only time will tell.
